  1. What is the promo?

    a. TNT Tropa Challenge is a nationwide inter-Tropa competition, open to all members aged 13-19 years old. Tropas will earn points through online and physical challenges and the tropa with the highest number of earned points will win Php1,000,000 cash prize + Php100,000 for the school they represent.
  2. When is the promo?

    a. The promo period is from September 10, 2016-November 15, 2016

    1. The twenty percent (20%) prize tax shall be shouldered by Smart Communications Inc.

  4. Who can join the promo?

    a. All existing TNT subscribers aged 13-19 years old.
    b. Parent’s/Guardian’s consent is required for those participants below 18 years old.
  5. Who cannot join the promo?

    a. All employees, directors, and officers of Smart Communications, Inc., Digital FCB, ThemeWorks Events Co. Inc., and their relatives or any person or entity involved in the campaign/ promotion; as well as family members up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible or disqualified to join this promo.

HOW TO JOIN
  1. The challenge is open to groups of five (5) students, ages 13-19 years old. They must be TNT subscribers.
    a. For those below 18, their parents or guardians must sign and submit the consent form allowing the participant to join the contest. The waiver may be accessed and uploaded at tropachallenge.tntph.com/register
  2. The promo period will be from September 10, 2016 to November 15, 2016. The challenges will run from November 22, 2016 to February 26, 2017.
  3. Participants must visit tropachallenge.tntph.com to check the mechanics and register.
  4. They must fill out the form with the following details:
    1. Tropa Team Name
    2. Full Name (Representative’s name)
    3. Gender
    4. Email Address
    5. Full Address
    6. Location (Dropdown: Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao)
    7. Birthday
    8. Name of School
    9. TNT Mobile Number
    10. Team Members (4 members)
      1. Full Name
      2. Birthday
      3. TNT Mobile Number
      4. Email Address
  5. After filling out the registration form, participants must upload a 30-60 second video in MP4 or MPEG4 format with maximum of 30MB as file size, where they will explain why they deserve to be part of the challenge. They will also be required to upload a picture of their group in JPEG or PNG with maximum of 3MB as file size. Entries must not contain any of the following:
    1. Violence
    2. Nudity or sexual content
    3. Use of foul words and gestures
    4. Copyright infringement
  6. Only one registration video will be accepted from each group.
  7. Once entries are reviewed and validated, participants shall receive a notification via email if they qualify for the online challenge.
  8. Valid entries shall be curated and announced via TNT’s website and social media pages.

VALIDATION OF ENTRIES
  1. Details of the Teams that registered in the tropachallenge.tntph.com website (tropa name, representative name, email address, address, location, birthday, school, TNT mobile number, team member details) will be saved and collated in the site database. (sample database report to be provided by agency)
  2. TNT number is authenticated in the website by inputting valid TNT number prefixes (0907, 0909, 0910, 0912, 0918, 0919, 0920, 0928, 0930, 0938, 0946, 0948, 0950).
  3. Once registration is submitted, team representative will receive an email to validate registration. Email will include the following details:

    Dear Tropa, Salamat sa pag-register sa TNT Tropa Challenge! Here are your log-in details: Tropa Name: Password: To complete your verification, click this link: <system generated link>


  4. Database in Excel file format will be downloaded from the Tropa Challenge admin site and turned over to TNT to confirm if TNT mobile numbers and other details are valid.
  5. Once team registrations are verified, challenge entries will be uploaded per team to the website.
  6. After submission, a pop-up message will appear, asking the team representative to visit the site again after 1 work day to check if their team entry has been published.
  7. All submitted entries will be saved in the backend database of the site. These entries can be accessed in the site CMS.
  8. The Admin site/CMS can be accessed only by the assigned Admins or Promo Managers (TNT and DigitalFCB). The admins will be given usernames and passwords to access the site.
  9. In the CMS, the admin can view all entries submitted by the teams. Admin will review their entries to ensure that they do not contain any of the following:
    1. Violence
    2. Nudity or sexual content
    3. Use of foul words and gestures

ELIMINATION ROUND
  1. There will be one (1) online challenge per week that will be shared at TNT Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/TNTph) from November 22 to January 17, 2017. There will be a total of 4 online challenges.
  2. Online challenges will have its levels of difficulty and different criteria of judging
  3. All group must complete each online challenges to earn points
  4. All Tropa Online Challenges should be uploaded at tropachallenge.tntph.com
  5. Schedule of Judging of Online Challenges per week from Smart Communications Inc. Office, 23rd Floor, Smart Tower, Ayala Avenue 1226 Makati City
  6. Entries will be judged and witnessed by the following:
    1. (2) TNT representatives
    2. To be witnessed by A DTI Representative
  7. The winners will be determined based on the points they will earn throughout the challenges.
  8. 30 teams who garnered the highest points from the Online Challenges shall compete in the Regional Round for the chance to qualify for the Final Round. Each judge shall be given a scoring sheet per challenge wherein they will input their scores based on the proposed criteria for judging. They will also review to ensure that they do not contain any of the following:
    1. Violence
    2. Nudity or sexual content
    3. Use of foul words and gestures
    4. Copyright infringement
  9. The final average score per team will then be uploaded online via CMS. All submitted entries will be accessible in the CMS. Under Entries tab > Click on Challenge number (i.e. Challenge 1) > Click on Pending to view all submitted entries. All entries that do not contain any of the following: violence, nudity or sexual content, or use of foul words and gestures shall be approved.
  10. Once entry is approved, it can now be viewed in the Approved section. This is where the final average score shall be uploaded by clicking on the edit button beside the score > Input the score. Score to be added should already be the computed average score of all the judges.
  11. To track their progress, participating groups can check the leaderboard on TNT’s microsite, tropachallenge.com
QUALIFIER ROUND
  1. Qualifiers will be held at Quezon City Circle, on February 25, 2017, 8am
  2. 30 groups with 5 members each shall complete and pass the challenges required for each station in Qualifier Round.
  3. Obstacles and challenges for each station was consulted and reviewed by our experts in Athletic and Sports Training, Coach Jim Saret and Coach Toni Saret
  4. There will be a total 3 stations with corresponding obstacles and challenges.
  5. Scores will be tallied based on points garnered based on the physical challenges of the Qualifiers only.
  6. The Station Master will explain and demo each challenges and the Cluster Team Head will record the time of each group.
  7. Each Team will go thru a total 4 Different Challenge Stations
  8. 5 Teams who garnered the highest points from the Qualifier Challenges shall qualify and compete in Final Round
  9. Awarding of the Top 5 will be held also on February 25, 2017
  10. One (1) DTI representative will be invited to monitor the whole activities during the regional round
  11. Smart Communications will shoulder the transportation expenses and accommodations of the 30 teams with five (5) members and one (1) School Faculty Representative to compete for the Regional Round.
FINAL ROUND
  1. Final Round will be held at SM MOA Music Hall, on February 26, 2017, 3pm
  2. The Top 5 Tropa Teams from the Qualifier Round will be competing in the National Finals. The team members should be the same members that comprised the original teams. No member substitutions will be allowed.
  3. For this round, the obstacles and challenges were also consulted and reviewed by our experts in Athletic and Sports Training, Coach Jim Saret and Coach Toni Saret
  4. The Top 3 Winning teams will be decided based on the team scores they collect at each challenge.
  5. Route info will be given to each team which describes where the challenge will take place and what kind of challenge they would have to complete.
  6. Awarding of the Top 5 will be held at SM MOA Music Hall on February 26, 2017
  7. One (1) DTI representative will be invited to monitor the whole activities during the final round and announcement of winners.
  8. Smart Communications will shoulder the transportation expenses and accommodations of the 5 teams with five (5) members and one (1) School Faculty Representative to compete for the Final Round.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. The promoter is Smart Communications, Inc. whose registered office is at 6799 Ayala Ave., Makati City
  2. Employees of Smart Communications, Inc. or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. Participants should be high school or college students aged 13-19 years old.
  5. Participants must be TNT subscribers.
  6. Each registering group should have 5 members.
  7. Submitted entries should not contain nudity, violence, and use of foul words or gestures. Entries with such content will not be considered as valid entries.
  8. Route to entry for the competition and detail of how to enter are through tntph.com/pages/tropachallenge
  9. Closing date for entries from November 22 – January 17 will be every Sunday at 11:59 PM. After January 15, no further submissions will be accepted.
  10. Upon submission of the application forms and required attachments, they shall constitute property of Smart Communications and will not be returned to the contestants or his/her parents.
  11. The rules of the competition and prizes for each winner are found at tntph.com/pages/tropachallenge and tropachallenge.tntph.com.
  12. If the group contestant is found to be un-sportsmanlike, displays poor behavior or engages in altercation causing disruption of the competition, Smart Communications’ hosted venues including the host hotel or any Smart Communications’ sponsored / related competition events / tapings, shall have the right to immediately disqualify the entire team/group.
  13. By joining this competition, semi-finals and finals qualifiers will have to travel to TNT’s competition venues. Any team member’s failure to take part in the on-ground competition may ultimately forfeit the team’s chance of winning.
  14. Smart Communications, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  15. Smart Communications, Inc. is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  16. The prizes are transferable. Non-cash prizes (such as smartphones, etc.) are not convertible to cash.
  17. Prizes are subject to availability and Smart Communications, Inc. reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value with prior notice to DTI..
  18. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by Smart Communications, Inc.
  19. The winners will be notified during the awarding event scheduled on February 26, 2017 at SM MOA Music Hall. Winners can claim the prize within 60 days upon notification, Smart Communications, Inc. reserves the right to forfeit the prize of the winner and award to another winning team with concurrence of DTI.
  20. Smart Communications, Inc. will notify the winner when and where the prize can be claimed.
  21. Smart Communications, Inc.’s decision in respect to all matters to do with the competition is final.
  22. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  23. Semi finals and finals qualifiers will be required to sign a waiver that states that Smart Communications, Inc. will not be held liable for any injuries that happen during the course of the competition unless due to the organizer’s negligence.
  24. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material related to this contest.
  25. By joining the contest, participants are allowing Smart Communications, Inc. to use their entries as featured content on TNT’s social media pages and other contest collaterals.
  26. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  27. Smart Communications Inc, shall not be held responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, harm, or loss of property suffered during the contest period, training or workshops, resulting from negligence, violation or failure to abide by the contest’s terms and conditions.
  28. The group contestants acknowledges that they will not be receiving a talent fee and/or any other forms of honorarium /charges, remuneration or any form of consideration for participating in TNT TROPA CHALLENGE CONTEST
  29. Terms and Conditions apply to every stage of the competition: Elimination, Regional and/or the Final Round of TNT TROPA CHALLENGE CONTEST
  30. Decision of Smart Communications and the organizers shall be final in concurrence with DTI.

  1. Sino ang mga pwedeng sumali dito?
    • Ito ang mga basic requirements para makasali:
      1. Dapat Tropa of 5 members kayo.
      2. Only 13-19 years old ang mga members ng Tropa.
      3. Lahat ng members ay may TNT mobile number.
      4. Residents of the Philippines ang bawat isa sa Tropa.
  2. Kailangan bang 5 members kami to join?
    • Oo, only 5 members are allowed per Tropa – no more, no less.
  3. Kailangan bang pare-pareho kami ng edad?
    • Hindi, kahit magkakaiba kayo ng edad basta within 13-19 years old ang bawat isa.
  4. Pwede ba kaming sumali kahit nasa probinsya kami?
    • Oo, this is a nationwide event. We will announce the initial challenges through the website and TNT’s official social media accounts. Pwedeng gawin ng Tropa lahat ng mga challenges na ito anywhere in the Philippines!
  5. What if may isa sa aming hindi naka-TNT, pwede parin ba kaming mag register?
    • You can still register but kailangang magpalit to TNT ang mga Ka-Tropang hindi pa naka TNT.
  6. Students lang ba ang pwedeng sumali? Paano kung hindi kami enrolled this year?
    • Kahit hindi currently enrolled sa school, pwede parin sumali ang Tropa. Kung sakaling manalo ang Tropa, pwede kayong mag nominate kung aling school ang makakareceive ng cash prizes.
  7. Paano kung iba-iba ang schools namin? Anong school ang makakareceive ng cash prize if we win?
    • Kung sakaling manalo ang Tropa, pwede kayong mag nominate kung aling school ang makakareceive ng cash prizes.
  8. Hanggang kailan kami pwede magsubmit ng registration form? What if late kami nagsubmit ng application?
    • Online registration via website or email will only be accepted until Oct 31,
    • Registration forms submitted after this date will no longer be accepted.
  9. Pwede bang hindi na kami magsubmit ng Tropa video and Tropa photo sa pag register?
    • Required ang inyong Tropa video at Tropa photo for registration. Dito rin namin mavavalidate ang authenticity ng inyong Tropa.
  10. What if nag exceed sa 1 minute yung video?
    • Video entries should only be 1 minute or less and with a maximum size of 30MB.
  11. Kailan kami makakareceive ng confirmation of application?
    • Once successful ang Tropa sa pagsubmit ng registration form via the website, you can immediately expect your verification email sa registered email ng Tropa Captain nyo. If nag-register ang Tropa via email, expect your confirmation email within 2 working days.
  12. Paano pag gusto na mag quit nung tropa? Or if yung isa naming Ka-Tropa ay magback-out habang nasa challenge?
    • Para sa mga cases gaya nito, contact us via the Contact Us page or the phone hotline.
  13. Kung makasali kami sa Semi-Finals, paano kami makakapunta sa venues if we’re from the provinces?
    • Sagot na ng TNT ang transportation, accommodation at food expenses nyo! Walang nang worries sa gastos ang Tropa sa pagsali sa Semi-Finals at Finals.
  14. Can we still change yung details na i-sinubmit namin during the registration?
